Sydney Dragway held their Bangers & Mash nostalgia, gassers and hot rod event over 2 days with test & tune on the Friday and racing all day Saturday.
Excellent weather, fantastic variety of fuel altereds, nitro funny cars, front engined dragsters, veteran & vintage speedsters with a good line up of hot rods from local clubs racing, something for everyone from young to old.
The Shannon’s car show on the eastern hill attracted over 200 entrants and included 18 yo Cooper Groom’s Toyota powered T-bucket that Cooper has built over last 8 years with his family.
Cooper drove down from Central Coast and couldn’t keep the smile off his face as he is enjoying driving his T-bucket every chance possible.
